Olawande’s Rising Profile Worthy Of Celebration


Former Ondo State House of Assembly member who represented Akure South Constituency 1, Sir Simeon Toluwani Borokini, has celebrated the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, on the occasion of his birthday, describing his rising profile in national leadership as highly commendable.

Borokini noted that the Minister’s journey in public service has been defined by quiet but impactful strides, reflected in his unwavering commitment to youth advocacy, inclusion, empowerment, and active political participation.

He further highlighted Olawande’s recent international engagement, where, on the sidelines of President Bola Tinubu’s visit to the United Kingdom the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, in partnership with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), hosted a strategic session focused on youth development, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

According to Borokini, the initiative reflects Olawande’s forward-thinking approach and commitment to creating global opportunities for Nigerian youths.

He noted that Olawande has consistently demonstrated a hands-on approach to youth mobilization and governance, effectively bridging the gap between government and the younger generation.

“His deliberate engagement with youths, promotion of talent and youth-driven policies, and collaboration with key stakeholders have positioned him as a trusted and vibrant voice within the current administration,” he remarked.

As the Minister marks his birthday, Borokini expressed confidence that his leadership, experience, and vision will continue to inspire greater participation among young Nigerians and contribute meaningfully to national development.

He wished him good health, renewed strength, and many more years of impactful service to the nation.
