Okpehbolo Names Six Commissioner Designates


The Edo State Governor, Monday Okpehbolo on Tuesday sent names of commissioner-designate to the state House of Assembly for confirmation.

The names of the six commissioner-designates were contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Ikhilor and sent to the House of Assembly.

They are Marie Olabisi-Idaomi, Paddy Iyamu, Paul Ohounbamu, Washington Osifo, Lucky Eseigbe and Andrew Ijegbai.

The letter with the heading, “REQUEST FOR THE CONFIRMATION OF COMMISSIONER reads, “I write at the instance of the Governor of Edo Monday Okpebholo to forward for the consideration and confirmation Assembly, the underlisted names as Commissioner designates.

They are Hon. Paul Ohonbamu, Washington Osifo, Paddy lyamu, Lucky Eseigbe, Andrew ljegbai and Marie Olabisi-Idaomi

“While looking forward to the expeditious confirmation of the names, please accept the assurances of the warm regards of Mr. Governor.”
