Ogun Police Intensify Security With Joint Operations


The Ogun State Police Command has intensified proactive security measures across the state to ensure a peaceful and safe 2026 Easter festive season.

In order to achieve this, the command has deployed joint forces, operational assets, and a substantial number of personnel, while strengthening patrols along major highways and strategic locations to protect lives and property.

Also, the Command has conducted a robust show of force in collaboration with sister security agencies to further enhance security in the state.

The coordinated operation involved patrol vehicles, tactical teams, and intelligence assets, all aimed at reinforcing security presence, reassuring the public, and deterring criminal activities within Ogun State.

Additionally, Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, has ordered the deployment of personnel for traffic control and operational duties during and after the festive period.

The Command has assured that these security operations will continue throughout and beyond the Easter celebrations and urged residents to celebrate responsibly while cooperating fully with security personnel.
