The Ogun State Police Command has announced full enforcement operation across key areas including Sango Ota, Sagamu, Mowe, and Ifo as part of efforts to tackle traffic congestion.
According to a statement by the police Command, the operation is already in top gear and personnel deployed to ensure free movement of vehicles and reduce traffic bottlenecks across the state.
Traffic officers, including teams from the Motor Traffic Department, Area Traffic Officers, and Divisional Traffic Units, have also been stationed at strategic locations.

Their mandate includes strict enforcement of traffic regulations, efficient traffic management, and continuous clearance of road obstructions.
Motorists have been advised to adhere strictly to parking rules, using only designated areas when picking up or dropping off passengers.
Traders have also been warned to operate solely within approved market spaces to prevent roadside congestion.
The Command acknowledged that ongoing road construction projects in Sango Ota and Sagamu may contribute to temporary traffic challenges.
However, officials emphasized that these infrastructure upgrades are designed to improve long-term mobility.
Encouragingly, traffic congestion previously experienced in Mowe and Ifo has been successfully cleared.
The Command assured residents that measures are in place to sustain this progress.
