NSIA Insurance Champions Workplace Wellness with Fitness Par


NSIA Insurance Limited has highlighted the need for a healthy workplace as it hosted a fitness party for employees from its Lagos branches in Victoria Island, Ikeja, and Aspamda.

In a statement on Monday, the firm said that the event blended high-energy workouts, health checks, and fun activities, reflecting the company’s dedication to fostering a healthy and connected workforce.

The firm said that the fitness party forms part of its broader internal engagement efforts to build a healthier, more connected workforce.

“As the company continues to prioritise employee wellbeing, events like this reinforce the belief that a healthy team is a happy, high-performing team. This event was more than just fitness; it was about creating a shared experience that reminded us of the power of community and a healthy workforce,” said the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Moruf Apampa.

NSIA Insurance employees were guided through aerobic and stretching sessions, led by professional instructors.

Other highlights include on-site blood pressure checks, supported by in-house volunteers, and departmental team challenges that foster healthy competition and camaraderie.

Volunteers played a crucial role in the event’s success, supporting coordination and encouraging participation across departments in the lead-up to the event.
