Nigerian real estate exec Victor Adegbile gets global award

Chief Executive Officer of Land Republic, Victor Adegbile, has received international recognition following his honour at the Leaders Without Borders Annual Business Summit and International Honours held in London, United Kingdom.

Adegbile was presented with the Award for Global Excellence and Global Impact in Real Estate Investment and Development Across Africa during the summit, according to a statement issued on Monday by the media unit of Land Republic. The recognition was announced at the event held on 27 March 2026.

The summit brought together global investors, industry leaders and policy decision-makers to explore strategies for long-term economic growth, cross-border partnerships and sustainable development across emerging markets.

Adegbile, who also spoke at the event as a featured speaker, addressed participants on the role of private capital in shaping the future of housing and infrastructure development across Africa. He highlighted the need for increased investment in the continent’s real estate sector, describing it as a key driver of economic expansion and urban transformation.

Speaking after receiving the award, Adegbile said the recognition reinforces his commitment to advancing investment opportunities across Africa.

“Africa is not a risk to be managed; it is an opportunity to be built. This recognition strengthens my commitment to driving world-class investment and development across the continent. We are just getting started,” he said.

Organisers of the award said the honour recognises Adegbile’s contributions to real estate investment and development across Africa, noting his growing influence within the sector and his efforts in promoting cross-border collaboration.

The recognition, they added, places him among global professionals driving international impact while reflecting increasing investor confidence in Africa’s real estate and infrastructure potential.
