Nigerian Celebrities Relish Cinematic Experience


Nigerian celebrities – including actors, influencers, and fans of the Fantastic Four OG movie, could not talk enough of their experience of viewing the Marvel world reboot, ‘Fantastic 4: 1st Steps’ at the IMAX Cinemas, in Lekki, Lagos.

Hosted by Filmhouse Group, and sponsors Visa and Chipper, the blue carpet event drew attendees into the immersive world where fashion, film and futuristic activation collide, dressed to the Ts with elements (earth, wind, fire, water) theme.

In attendance were celebrities like Uti Nwachukwu, Baaj Adebule; influencers and influencers as Elozonam, Toby Forge, Jane Frances, Chioma Kalu who captured iconic fashion moments on ground that quickly made their way online.

Guests were pulled into the world of Fantastic Four before the screening began, via the digital booths, branded lounges and content stations.

As for the film which reintroduced the superhero squad with a fresh cast and updated narrative, while the IMAX screen amplified every moment onscreen, drawing gasps, laughs and cheers from fans reconnecting with the franchise.

Post screening, attendees poured out of the cinema into the activation zones, where they recorded their thoughts, gave reviews of the magic they’d just witnessed. Online, the ripple effect was immediate as hashtag posts about the event trended and the spread fast.

Speaking with LEADERSHIP, Chief Marketing Officer Filmhouse Group, Mojisola Oladapo, noted, “the premiere wasn’t just about a movie, it was about raising the bar for what a cinematic experience in Nigeria looks and feels like.”
