Nigerian-born Musician Sings For Spanish Soccer Star Yamal

Nigerian-born international singer, Attih Soul, is becoming a new favourite artist for Spanish football sensation Lamine Yamal. The possibility is certainly intriguing, especially after Yamal chose the Barcelona-based artist to perform at his exclusive 18th birthday party on July 13.

The intrigue grew with the news of a second private performance scheduled for later in 2025.

Attih Soul is a talented, rising star from Nigeria. Based in Barcelona, he’s known for his unique mix of R&B and soul music. His career includes several notable accomplishments. He won ‘Best Performing Group’ at the World Music Day Festival in Nigeria and In 2017, he was selected to write and perform the theme song for Nigeria’s Democracy Day. He received a ‘Golden Microphone’ award at the Road to Yalta Music Festival in Russia with his album ‘Shades of Emotions’ and a powerful vocal style, Attih Soul’s authentic and heartfelt music is gaining him attention.

‘A Deeper Connection’, the choice of Attih Soul for Yamal’s private birthday celebration suggests a personal connection.

Athletes often find inspiration in music, and the songs they choose for significant moments can offer a glimpse into their personal lives.

While the first performance could be a coincidence, the invitation for a second private show just a month later points to a more meaningful relationship between the artist and the young football star.

Could Attih Soul’s soulful sound be the soundtrack to Yamal’s downtime or even a source of motivation for his incredible performances? As Yamal continues to rise in the football world, every detail of his life is in the spotlight. His taste in music, while seemingly small, offers a window into the person behind the talent.

If Attih Soul truly is becoming a staple in Yamal’s personal life, it could create an exciting link between Nigerian music and global football, introducing Attih Soul’s unique sound to an even bigger audience.
