Nigeria and Jordan played out an exciting 2-2 draw in an international friendly on Tuesday, with both sides producing a lively contest.
The encounter began at a high tempo, with Jordan making the brighter start and applying early pressure on the Nigerian defence. Their intent paid off in the 15th minute when Mousa Al-Tamari found the breakthrough.
Latching onto a forward pass, Tamari drove into the box and fired a powerful shot that beat the goalkeeper to give the hosts the lead.
Jordan continued to press, maintaining control of possession and looking dangerous in attack. Nigeria, however, gradually grew into the game and found a response midway through the first half.
After a scramble in the penalty area, Moses Simon reacted quickest to a loose ball and rifled home to restore parity.

Buoyed by the equaliser, Nigeria began to settle and looked more threatening going forward. Their improvement was rewarded late in the first half when Emmanuel Fernandez finished clinically after a quick counter-attack, putting the Super Eagles ahead going into the break.
The second half started at a slower pace, with both teams making several substitutions that disrupted the rhythm of the game. Nigeria enjoyed more possession but struggled to create clear-cut chances, while Jordan remained patient and organised defensively.
As the match entered its final stages, Jordan found a way back into the contest. A well-worked attacking move saw the ball played into the path of Yazan Al-Daoud, who calmly slotted home from close range to level the score at 2-2.
The closing minutes were marked by tension and disciplinary issues. A brief altercation between players resulted in a red card for Alex Iwobi following a retaliatory incident, while several others from both sides were booked as tempers flared.
Despite late efforts from both teams to snatch a winner, neither side could find a decisive goal, and the match ended all square.
The result reflects a competitive outing for both nations, with Nigeria showing resilience to overturn an early deficit, while Jordan demonstrated determination to fight back and secure a draw.
