NeoLife Reinforces Commitment to Ethical Business Practices

NeoLife, a global wellness and nutrition firm with operations in more than 50 countries, used its annual President Team Meeting in Lagos on Saturday to underscore its dedication to ethical and transparent business practices.

Around 60 of the company’s top-performing partners attended the gathering, which focused on reviewing business strategies, soliciting feedback, and reinforcing adherence to company policies.

Executives addressed growing concerns over negative public perceptions and social media criticism, stressing that integrity and transparency remain central to NeoLife’s long-term strategy. They highlighted ethical leadership and accountability as key to sustaining the company’s reputation for future generations.

NeoLife’s Vice President of Field Development for West Africa, Olusanmi Asalu, urged the company’s top-performing partners to prioritise honesty and integrity over profit, emphasising the importance of compliance with company policies.

He mentioned that the meeting was part of the company’s ongoing efforts to train partners on building their business while upholding ethical standards.

“As we engage our leaders, we ensure everyone is aware of market developments and the need to adhere to company policies, which are built on honesty and integrity,” Asalu told The PUNCH at the event.

“Integrity is key. Putting people first is number one in our business. That is why we emphasise our values: honesty, integrity, and putting people first.”

The NeoLife business model combines direct selling (network marketing) with product distribution, meaning independent distributors like the President Team members sell NeoLife products directly to customers and recruit others to join the business.

Asalu noted that NeoLife empowers its partners, pointing out that the company has thousands of multimillionaires and more than 1,000 directors, each earning between N500,000 and N1m.

“Empowering more than 1,000 directors in a year shows that something is being done right,” he said.

The executive warned that anyone found violating company principles would face strict consequences, including suspension, removal from leadership, or prosecution, stressing that “honesty and truthfulness are essential in this business.”

Feeds Support Director, NeoLife, Adesina Mustapha, said the meeting was aimed at engaging President Team members who have achieved significant success, outlining the company’s plans for the year, and reinforcing compliance with NeoLife policies and procedures.

“NeoLife has been in Nigeria for 26 years, and we operate in over 54 countries,” Mustapha said. “Our business is built on honesty, integrity, and putting people first. We want our leaders to uphold these values at all times and ensure that every team member aligns with company policies.”

He emphasised that the president’s team members are responsible not only for their own conduct but also for ensuring compliance across their teams. Continuous training and adherence to company procedures are central to safeguarding the company’s long-standing reputation.

Mustapha warned that violations of company policies would not be tolerated. “Anyone found contravening our procedures or putting the company’s name in a bad light will face disciplinary action, including suspension, removal from leadership positions, and possible prosecution,” he said.

The executives emphasised that the meeting also addressed challenges, including negative perceptions and social media backlash, reinforcing that NeoLife is a serious and trustworthy business.

“Integrity is more important than profit. Our legacy and reputation are generational, and today’s leaders must build the business the right way for future generations,” Mustapha added.
