Nasara Foundation marks anniversary, unveils transformative magazine

The Nasara Women Development Foundation celebrated its third anniversary with the launch of The Nasara Chronicle, a new magazine aimed at showcasing the foundation’s accomplishments and fostering stronger connections with stakeholders and beneficiaries.

The grand celebration took place at the Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.

The foundation, widely known for its grassroots empowerment initiatives across health, education, skills acquisition, and women and youth development, has impacted over 500,000 lives since its inception in 2022.

Addressing guests at the event, its Chief Executive Officer, Hajiya Bilkisu Nasir, expressed deep appreciation for the foundation’s progress and resilience.

“We remain committed to empowering the vulnerable and uplifting communities. This magazine is a reflection of the countless lives we’ve touched through our programmes,” she said.

Nasir praised the visionary leadership of the founder and First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Idris, for steering the foundation to its current heights.

In her remarks, the First Lady and founder described The Nasara Chronicle as a bridge between the foundation and the wider community.

“It is more than just a publication. It is a platform to amplify voices from the grassroots, share stories of progress, and foster dialogue around the critical issues affecting women, youth, and vulnerable groups,” she stated.

The Governor of Kebbi State, His Excellency Comrade Nasir Idris, commended the foundation’s transformative impact, pledging continued state support, noting that NGOs like Nasara Foundation complement government efforts in reaching underserved communities.
