MTN, Chef Taylor Thrill Abuja Residents In A Night Of Music,Culinary Excellence


Abuja residents were treated to an unforgettable night of music,fashion and culinary excellence at the Decency Event Centre,Wuse,as MTN Nigeria,partnered with renowned Chef,Taylor Odeja, popularly known as Chef Taylor,for a spectacular event,themed,”The Gold Standard.”A monthly dinner series organised by The Colony and Chef Taylor.

The evening was filled with delightful musical performances by the Resistance Band,with exquisite fashion and cuisine on display,showcasing the best of Abuja’s vibrant cultural scene.

Speaking to LEADERSHIP Weekend, Chef Taylor commended MTN Nigeria for supporting initiatives that promote cultural heritage and local enterprise. He said the event not only celebrates Nigeria’s rich culinary history but also boosts the local economy by providing opportunities for musicians, mixologists, and kitchen staff.

“This is one of our largest events,and it is brought to you by MTN Nigeria and Jameson Black Barrel, we are here to celebrate culture, cuisine, music, Nigerian talents,the food and fashion.

“We are investing in culture because it is not really our culture to come out dressed up for a fine dinning experience.This kind of experience needs to be created over again until it becomes a part of us.”

Taylor said.

 

Chef Taylor’s restaurant,’The Colony Privé’,is a popular spot in Abuja, known for its serene atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. MTN Nigeria’s partnership with Chef Taylor is part of the company’s efforts to bring people together and celebrate the best of Abuja’s culture.
