Moonshot 2025 to Explore Future of I

More than 4,000 innovators, policymakers, and investors from over 15 countries will gather in Lagos from October 15–16 for the third edition of Moonshot by TechCabal, Africa’s flagship technology and innovation conference, organisers said on Thursday.

Themed ‘Building Momentum: Africa’s Tech Ecosystem Positions Itself for Its Next Big Leap’, the 2025 edition comes at a pivotal moment for the continent’s digital economy, as stakeholders shift from resilience during funding downturns toward sustainable, scalable growth.

Headline sponsored by Sabi, a global trade and supply chain enabler, Moonshot 2025 will feature more than 120 speakers and nine signature content tracks. These will include the upgraded FUEL: The Investor Conference, a dedicated Emerging Tech track, a Government & Policy Conference on digital reforms, and sessions on the creative economy, climate tech, commerce, big tech, and workforce development.

Chief Executive Officer of Big Cabal Media, Tomiwa Aladekomo, said the sector’s recent challenges have strengthened its foundations.

“What we’re witnessing now is genuine momentum, firmly grounded in strong fundamentals, propelled by clarity, and intensely focused on scale. Moonshot 2025 offers a vital space to reflect on our journey and to channel this momentum into meaningful progress for founders, investors, and the entire ecosystem,” he noted in a statement.

Key speakers will include Non-Executive Director at British International Investment Andrew Alli, Operating Partner at Catalyst Fund Maxime Bayen, and General Partner at Norrsken22 Lexi Novitske, among others.

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Sabi, Anu Adedoyin, said Moonshot plays a critical role in advancing Africa’s tech ambitions. “We believe in building robust foundations for digital commerce, and Moonshot is crucial for fostering the connections and clarity needed for founders to build smart, scalable solutions,” she said.

Moonshot is organised by TechCabal, a leading African technology publication providing reporting, data, and analysis to help investors and professionals understand the continent’s evolving tech landscape.
