Mild Drama As Eezee Tee Snubs Journalists In Court, Case Adjourned To May 14

A mild drama unfolded at the Federal High Court in Lagos on Thursday as ThankGod Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, popularly known as Eezee Tee, made a swift exit from the courtroom to avoid media scrutiny.

LEADERSHIP reports that Eeze Tee, a gospel music promoter, is facing allegations of illegal conversion of music royalties due to his former signee, Mercy Chinwo.

The gospel singer (Chinwo) had alleged that the defendant diverted the sum of about $345,000 representing royalties due to her, without remittance.

The trial of Eezee Tee continued on Thursday in Lagos.

However, journalists from various media outlets had gathered outside the courtroom, poised to capture reactions from the parties involved. However, in an unexpected turn, Eezee Tee abruptly fled the scene, dodging cameras and leaving reporters scrambling to document the moment.

The case, which has drawn significant public attention, has been adjourned to May 14 for further proceedings.
