Mikano Motors rewards Miss Nigeria with Changan car


Mikano Motors, a subsidiary of Mikano International Limited has rewarded the winner of the 45th Miss Nigeria, Doris Ogah, with Changan Eado Plus Luxury Sedan

The official handover ceremony was held  in Lagos at the main office of the company.

The event was witnessed by top officials of Mikano International and Mikano Motors, Chairperson of the Miss Nigeria Organisation, Mrs Rita Anosike; the winner of the 45th Miss Nigeria, Dora Ogah; the first and second runners-up of the pageant among many others.

The theme for the 2024 Miss Nigeria was “Cultural Heritage and Community Engagement”.

Speaking, Executive Director, Mikano International Limited, Omar Karameh, posited that the company always stood as a proud supporter of the nation’s arts, culture, and entertainment industry, adding that it was committed to fostering creativity and talent of Nigerian origin.

He said, “We continuously support various sectors, an example being Afriff- the largest film festival in Africa – and this event, here, is no exception. The legacy of Miss Nigeria is not just about beauty; it’s about strength, intelligence, and leadership. We believe that this platform can mould the future female leaders of our country. By celebrating these remarkable women, we pave the way for a brighter and more empowered Nigeria.”

According to him, the company has made a commitment to uplifting values and talents among Nigerian women in order to inspire and nurture the younger generation.

“We will continue to support and uplift our talents, and we trust that the values of Miss Nigeria will shine brightly in our society and will inspire the next generation of female leaders.”

Expressing her excitement to have won the pageant and receiving the Eado Plus brand new car, Dora Ogah.

She said, “Winning the Miss Nigeria title has been a life-changing experience, and I am deeply grateful to Mikano Motors for this incredible gift. This car is not just a means of transportation; it represents the journey ahead—one filled with purpose, advocacy, and impact. I am excited for all that is to come and look forward to using my reign to inspire and empower young girls across Nigeria.”

haring her insight into reviving the Miss Nigeria franchise, Chairperson of the Miss Nigeria, Mrs Rita Anosike opined, “Reviving the Miss Nigeria franchise has never just been about a pageant—it’s about building a platform that celebrates the brilliance, ambition, and cultural pride of the Nigerian woman. With partners like Mikano, we are not just crowning queens—we are empowering a generation and ensuring that Miss Nigeria is a title and a platform for real impact.
