Mikano Motors delivers new car to Miss Nigeria

In fulfilment of its promise, Mikano Motors, a subsidiary of Mikano International Limited, has handed over a brand new Eado Plus car to Dora Ogah, the winner of the 45th Miss Nigeria pageant.

The official handing-over ceremony was held at the main office of the conglomerate in Lagos.

The PUNCH reports that the contest with the theme ‘Cultural Heritage and Community Engagement’ took place in December, but the official handover ceremony was held on Monday.

The annual beauty pageant, according to the organisers, showcases positive attributes of Nigerian women. It also aims to celebrate Nigerian beauty and culture and to empower young women by showcasing their talents and qualities.

Speaking at the event, Executive Director of Mikano International Limited, Omar Karameh, stated that the company is always ready to support the nation’s art, culture and the entertainment industry.

He said, “Mikano has always stood as a proud supporter of our nation’s arts, culture, and entertainment industry, and we are committed to fostering creativity and talent of Nigerian origin.

“We continuously support various sectors, an example being Afriff – the largest film festival in Africa – and this event here is no exception. The legacy of Miss Nigeria is not just about beauty; it’s about strength, intelligence, and leadership. We believe that this platform can mould the future female leaders of our country. By celebrating these remarkable women, we pave the way for a brighter and more empowered Nigeria.”

He added that the company made a commitment to uplift values and talents among Nigerian women in order to inspire and nurture the younger generation, saying it has stayed true to its words.

“We will continue to support and uplift our talents, and we trust that the values of Miss Nigeria will shine brightly in our society and will inspire the next generation of female leaders,” he said.

Expressing her excitement at winning the pageant and receiving the brand new Eado Plus car, Ogah stated, “Winning the Miss Nigeria title has been a life-changing experience, and I am deeply grateful to Mikano Motors for this incredible gift. This car is not just a means of transportation; it represents the journey ahead—one filled with purpose, advocacy, and impact. I am excited for all that is to come and look forward to using my reign to inspire and empower young girls across Nigeria.”
