LG & CleanAce Partner to Drive Laundry Industry Growth

LG Electronics Nigeria has partnered with CleanAce Foundation & Academy to strengthen Nigeria’s fabricare and dry cleaning industry through the Hyper Masterclass Conference, themed “Making Audacious Moves in 2026.”

In a statement on Sunday, it was stated that the event, targeted at members of the Fabricare Professionals and Drycleaners Association, delivered practical business insights and strategies aimed at positioning operators for growth and sustainability.

The conference, which ended with a gala and awards night, attracted industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and government representatives. The Lagos State Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Akinyemi Ajigbotafe, was represented at the event by the Director of Entrepreneurship Development, Mrs Abiose Taiwo, who delivered a goodwill message on behalf of the Ministry.

In her remarks, Taiwo reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s commitment to supporting professional associations such as the FDPA in their efforts to create wealth, employment opportunities, and sustainable enterprises for Lagos residents.

Founder of CleanAce Foundation & Academy, Mr Eniibukun Adebayo, set the tone for the conference with a call for deliberate and informed decision-making across the industry.

He said, “Making audacious moves isn’t about recklessness; it’s courage guided by wisdom. Our industry stands at a crossroads of opportunity and responsibility. This masterclass was designed to empower professionals with the clarity, knowledge, and confidence to make bold decisions in 2026, decisions anchored in understanding, not fear.”

Adebayo noted that the Hyper Masterclass was structured to help fabricare operators rethink their business models, strengthen operational discipline, and embrace innovation as the sector evolves.

Speaking on behalf of LG Electronics Nigeria, the Head of Commercial Laundry Business, Samuel Odenusi, highlighted the role of technology and equipment investment in building profitable and trusted fabricare businesses. According to him, customer perception and confidence are closely tied to the quality of tools used in service delivery.

“Clients judge a business by its tools, and LG is proud to support the industry with technology that delivers efficiency and dependability,” Odenusi said, adding that reliable equipment helps operators reduce downtime, improve service quality, and grow profitability.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr Olakunle Iyanda, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Broot Consulting, who challenged participants to adopt a proactive mindset in running their businesses. He urged them to “move first, learn fast, and win early,” while stressing the importance of trust in customer relationships.

“When clients trust you, everything else gets easier. Be honest, be clear, and let your team in on the dream,” Iyanda told attendees, encouraging business owners to identify and fix “trust leaks” within their operations.

Participants also engaged in practical sessions focused on issues expected to shape the operating environment in 2026. These included discussions on new tax laws, with insights provided by Mr. Abriel Akinlolu of Fin-Goal Consulting, as well as risk management strategies led by Mr. Peter Ajagunna of Temple Insurance Brokers Ltd.

The sessions equipped attendees with tools for regulatory compliance, business resilience, and sustainable growth amid an evolving economic landscape.

The event concluded with a gala and awards night that celebrated excellence across the fabricare and dry cleaning industry. Awards were presented in categories covering public service, leadership, discipline, and professional contribution, underscoring the sector’s commitment to quality, professionalism, and community development.
