Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, has again affirmed its stature as Africa’s premier business school and provider of world-class management education, earning top positions in the newly released Financial Times (FT) 2025 Executive Education ranking.

In a statement, it was revealed that LBS placed 47 out of 95 globally for Custom Executive Education and 49 out of 85 for Open Enrolment programmes, leading all African business schools in the Custom category and remaining a formidable contender in Open Enrolment.

It stated, “These results extend nearly two decades of steady ascent for LBS. Since its debut in the FT ranking in 2007, the school has combined international accreditation milestones, AACSB and AMBA (2016), AACSB re-accreditation (2021), AMBA re-accreditation, AABS accreditation (2024) and ISO 9001:2015 recertification (2024), with continuous gains in FT performance. These achievements underscore LBS’s unwavering commitment to its vision: developing responsible leaders to inspire Africa’s growth.”

The Dean of Lagos Business School, Professor Yinka David-West, said the 2025 FT results are a powerful endorsement of our strategy of deliberate, quality-driven growth.

He said, “They show that when we benchmark ourselves against the best in the world through rigorous accreditations and transparent rankings, we not only meet global standards, we set the pace for Africa. I am immensely proud of our faculty and staff, whose dedication ensures that LBS equips executives with the insight, integrity and impact our continent needs.

“The school’s latest rankings also reflect ambitious internal targets. For 2024–25, LBS aimed to reach a top-40 position in Open Enrolment and top-60 in Custom programmes. Falling just nine places shy in Open Enrolment while comfortably surpassing the Custom goal highlights both significant progress and clear areas for further refinement, an opportunity the school welcomes.
