Konga Offers Weekly Discounts to Woo Online Shoppers

Konga, one of Nigeria’s biggest e-commerce platforms, has launched a month-long campaign that offers rotating weekly discounts across major product categories in a bid to attract more online shoppers and deepen digital retail adoption.

The initiative, branded ‘All in All, Everything ×2 – Category Month’, runs from September 1 to 31 and provides steep price cuts on goods ranging from household essentials to electronics, fashion, and groceries. Each week highlights a different category, starting with home and kitchen products, giving customers the option to plan purchases around the campaign calendar.

Konga said the scheme is underpinned by partnerships with leading global brands, allowing it to offer competitive discounts while ensuring product authenticity.

“Category Month is about delivering value to our customers while strengthening trust in e-commerce,” the company noted in a statement.

To back the campaign, Konga is also leveraging its express delivery service, KongaNow, which promises delivery within one to six hours for eligible items in select locations. This logistics play is aimed at reassuring buyers that online shopping can be as convenient as visiting a physical store.

Industry analysts say the promotion reflects rising competition in Nigeria’s e-commerce space, where players are increasingly deploying themed campaigns and exclusive deals to secure market share. With more Nigerians shifting to digital platforms for shopping, observers note that campaigns such as Konga’s could boost consumer confidence while giving partner brands additional exposure.

The campaign covers a wide range of categories, including home and kitchen, electronics, fashion, phones and tablets, computing, groceries, and baby products.
