‘I’m queen of rap’ – Nicki Minaj declares

Hip-hop star Nicki Minaj has boldly declared herself as the “Queen of rap.”

The ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker made the declaration when asked what she’s going to be for Halloween.

“The same thing I was last year…The Queen of Rap,” she stated.

Her statement has sparked mixed reactions across social media platforms.

Over the years, there has been rivalry between Minaj and other female rappers over who is the best female rapper.

Despite being the best-selling female rapper in the world, Minaj has never won a Grammy.

Earlier this year, she thought she had won it for the first time in over 20 years of her career when the Recording Academy official X handle “mistakenly” tweeted ‘Barbie World’ by her and Ice Spice as the winner of the Best Rap Song category instead of Killer Mike’s ‘Scientists & Engineers.’

Her excitement was cut short after the organisers deleted the tweet and made a new post, announcing ‘Scientists & Engineers’ as the rightful winner.
