IDL revamps Commodore Aromatic Schnapps

Intercontinental Distillers Limited has relaunched Commodore Original Aromatic Schnapps as it honoured distributors for their support.

In a statement, the IDL noted its rebrand of the schnapps branded as ‘The Spirit of Answered Prayers’ as the Managing Director, Patrick Anegbe, expressed gratitude to distributors for their pivotal role in the company’s 2023 achievements.

“Today, we gather to celebrate and honor our distributors, who have played a pivotal role in our success over the years. Your unwavering loyalty and commitment have been instrumental in driving our business forward,” Anegbe said.

He acknowledged the challenges faced by the manufacturing industry, citing high production costs, increased electricity tariffs, soaring diesel prices, and logistical hurdles caused by inadequate infrastructure.

Angebe added that despite the obstacles the company was committed to supporting its distributors and delivering quality service.

Several distributors were rewarded with cash prizes and gifts in recognition of their performance with Lagos-based YTTT Distributions Ltd and Biola AY Stores emerging as Diamond category winners.

IDL’s Head of Sales, Hope Gbagi, urged distributors to deepen their engagement across all product lines, highlighting the company’s ambition to dominate the wine and spirits market.

Gbagi stated, “We need your support to achieve our goal of leading every category we serve.”

Commodore Aromatic Schnapps’ Head of Marketing, Mobolaji Alalade, addressed the reintroduction of the brand product by disclosing strategy to ensure its nationwide availability.

“This is a spirit crafted for consumers with refined palates who appreciate true craftsmanship. It is ‘The Spirit of Answered Prayers,’ and we are committed to making it accessible to all Nigerians,” Alalade said.
