The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, has elected Mr Adebola Babatunde as its Chairman.
The announcement was made by the outgoing Chairperson, Ms Efosa Ewere, during the chapter’s Annual General Meeting held in Lagos.
Ewere said the chapter recorded notable progress in corporate governance advocacy, partnerships, and member-focused programmes over the past year. She highlighted key initiatives introduced during her tenure, including a Corporate Governance Week and regular professional and wellness engagements for members.
She also noted that the chapter strengthened collaboration with other professional bodies while improving its digital platforms and membership systems.
Speaking on the chapter’s financial position, Sokunbi said it maintained stable liquidity to support its operations and programmes.
In his address, Babatunde thanked members for their trust in him and vowed to build upon the accomplishments of the previous leadership. He stated that his administration would prioritize enhancing governance, advocacy, and furthering the chapter’s goals.
