Hyundai Nigeria debuts all-new Palisade & other models

Hyundai Nigeria has reinforced its presence in the Nigerian auto market with the unveiling of the all-new Hyundai Palisade, alongside a lineup of other models, at a media showcase held in Lagos.

The event held over the weekend provided journalists and stakeholders with a first-hand look at Hyundai’s expanding portfolio, ranging from entry-level sedans to premium sport utility vehicles.

Also on display were the Hyundai Accent, Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Tucson and Hyundai Santa Fe, reflecting the brand’s strategy to cater for diverse customer segments.

The highlight of the showcase was the debut of the Palisade, Hyundai’s flagship SUV, designed to compete in the premium segment with its bold styling, spacious three-row configuration and advanced safety and convenience features.

The Brand Head of Hyundai Nigeria, Gaurav Vashisht, stressed that with its upscale interior and “commanding road presence, the vehicle is targeted at families and executives seeking comfort, space and performance.”

Vashisht added that across the lineup, Hyundai demonstrated a balance between affordability and sophistication: “The Santa Fe stood out as a refined family SUV, while the Tucson continued to appeal to buyers seeking a blend of modern design and everyday practicality.”

He further explained that in the compact SUV category, the Creta was presented as a stylish and efficient option suited for urban mobility, while the Accent sedan maintained its reputation as a cost-effective choice for young professionals, fleet operators and first-time buyers.

The automotive company boss further said the launch underscores the company’s commitment to delivering globally competitive products tailored to the Nigerian market.

“The introduction of the all-new Palisade strengthens our premium SUV offering while complementing a well-rounded line-up that delivers on design, safety, innovation and everyday usability,” he said.

The event also marked the launch of the company’s Easter campaign, offering customers added value through incentives such as complimentary delivery, accessories, registration and service packages.
