Haven Homes Refurbishes Police Medical Centre in Lagos

In a display of Corporate Social Responsibility, Haven Homes, a lifestyle developer, has handed over a refurbished and equipped medical centre to the Nigerian Police Force.

The facility, located at Onikan under Zone 2 of the Police Command, was commissioned by AIG Fayoade Adegoke, who received it on behalf of the Zone, according to a statement from the firm.

The medical centre was designed to improve the overall well-being of patients in the zone by providing effective and timely healthcare responses for emergencies that might arise in the course of duty.

According to the statement, “At Haven Homes, we believe that building a better world starts with creating better spaces, not only for our clients, but also for the wider community.

“We are proud to have completed the full renovation of the Police Clinic at the Zone 2 Zonal Command in charge of both Lagos and Ogun states. This medical facility provides essential care for the dedicated officers and staff who protect us every day and also takes care of the inmates and suspects in police custody.”

The company expressed its heartfelt appreciation to AIG Adegoke Fayoade, whose passion for making the police environment safe, conducive, and comfortable for his officers and everyone around him inspired and energised them to embark on the renovation project.

“From refreshed interiors to upgraded fittings and modern finishes, every detail was completed with the same care, quality, and excellence that define our homes,” the statement added.

In her handing over speech, Managing Director of Haven Homes, Mrs Ufuoma Ilessanmi, remarked, “We are pleased to have the opportunity to assist and help in this regard. As a community, we always felt the need to do something for the Police. With a relationship now established, we look forward to doing more in the future.”

AIG Fayoade Adegoke commended the management of Haven Homes for their generosity, saying it was encouraging to know that the public was willing to support the Police for effective service delivery. “This medical support will provide a huge moral boost to the personnel of the Zone 2 Command,” he added.

The refurbished medical centre is a testament to Haven Homes’ commitment to CSR and its desire to make a positive impact on the community. The company’s gesture is expected to enhance the well-being of police officers and staff, enabling them to deliver better services to the public.
