Guinness Nigeria Plc has reported a profit after tax of N16.2bn for the twelve months ended 30 June 2025, marking a significant recovery from the N54.7bn loss posted in the previous financial year.
According to its unaudited financial results released on Thursday, the company recorded a revenue of N496.6bn, representing a 65.8 per cent increase from N299.5bn in the preceding year. Gross profit rose by 62.2 per cent to N148.3bn, while operating profit climbed by 86.6 per cent to N47.4bn.
The brewer attributed its performance to disciplined cost management, focused execution of strategic priorities, and portfolio resilience.
Commenting on the performance, Chairman of the Board Prof. Fabian Ajogwu said, “This strong turnaround speaks to the quality of leadership, clarity of vision, and strength of governance at Guinness Nigeria. As we mark 75 years of doing business in Nigeria, this performance underscores our long-standing resilience and commitment to value creation.”
