Groups reveal 100 business influences to watch in 2025


Rank Bank, in partnership with Top100ng, has unveiled a list of 100 Nigerian business owners and professionals to watch in 2025.

The list was unveiled at the recently held inaugural Top 100 Event, spotlighting transformative figures shaping industries like business, technology, media, and real estate.

The initiative seeks to celebrate excellence, foster collaboration, and inspire mentorship in Nigeria’s business and professional landscape.

Rank Bank Director, Dr. Mike Osunbor, described the project as “a platform for inspiration and a legacy to nurture future leaders.”

The list includes some of Nigeria’s most innovative minds. From tech leaders like the co-founder of Andela and Flutterwave, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, and Odunayo Eweniyi, co-founder of PiggyVest, to cultural icons like Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy and filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, the selection cuts across industries.

In the banking and finance sector, names such as the late Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe, and the CEO of Chapel Hill Denham, Bolaji Balogun, stood out for their significant contributions.

Entrepreneurs like the founder of FarmCrowdy, Onyeka Akumah, and the founder of Shuttlers, Damilola Olokesusi, were also recognised for their business efforts.

Entertainment and media personalities featured prominently, with the CEO of EbonyLife Media, Mo Abudu, and filmmaker Kemi Adetiba earning accolades for their work in Nollywood.

In healthcare, the CEO of Flying Doctors Healthcare Investment Company, Dr. Ola Brown, and Dr. Onyema Ogbuagu, a COVID-19 vaccine researcher, were highlighted.
