Gov Eno Hails Tinubu’s Landslide Primary Victory


Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his overwhelming victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election held in Akwa Ibom State.

Governor Eno on Sunday disclosed that Tinubu secured a total of 389,197 votes in the state exercise, describing the outcome as a clear demonstration of strong party support ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He also commended members of the APC, the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, party stakeholders, and the people of Akwa Ibom State for the peaceful and orderly conduct of the primary election across the state.

According to him, the calm and transparent atmosphere witnessed during the exercise reflects the unity, discipline, and commitment of party members to sustaining peace and democratic stability in Akwa Ibom State.

Governor Eno noted that the APC will continue to consolidate support and strengthen internal cohesion as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He reiterated the party’s resolve to work collectively in order to deliver continued peace and development in the state.
