Gamic empowers users to earn rewards

Gamic, a blockchain-powered platform, said it revolutionising how millions of Africans engage with digital services by enabling users to earn rewards through everyday interactions.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the company detailed its mission to empower users across Africa by rewarding them for activities such as inviting friends, joining communities, or transacting via the app.

The firm emphasized that Gamic’s model stands in stark contrast to traditional social applications, which profit from user data without sharing the earnings. Instead, Gamic aims to redistribute value by placing ownership in the hands of its community.

The platform integrates real-time messaging, group collaboration, and a blockchain wallet, allowing users to chat, transact, and earn rewards all within a single ecosystem.

“Our goal is to ensure that value flows back to those who create it,” the company stated. The app’s design has proven particularly beneficial for farmers in rural Nigeria, who use it to coordinate crop sales, as well as entrepreneurs in Lagos who leverage its wallet for instant, low-cost payments.

Gamic’s reward system, known as “GG Points,” is a central component of its offering. The platform incentivizes user engagement by offering these points, which are convertible into tangible rewards.

In Ghana, for example, women’s cooperatives use the app to distribute profits directly to their members’ wallets, bypassing expensive intermediaries.

Freelancers across the continent also benefit, receiving payments instantly, even without traditional bank accounts.

Powered by Base Blockchain, a Coinbase-backed network, Gamic ensures that transactions are inexpensive—costing just a fraction of a cent—while providing enterprise-grade security.

Additionally, the app’s lightweight design and minimal bandwidth requirements make it accessible, even in regions with limited internet infrastructure.

Gamic plans to introduce new features, including decentralized identity verification and AI tools for small businesses, further expanding the platform’s capabilities.

While the app’s native token, GNG, has already garnered attention, its true innovation lies in its focus on democratizing technology.

The company envisions Gamic as a key player in redefining digital ecosystems across Africa, positioning it as a model of inclusivity in an era where digital platforms are often exclusionary.

“The future of social platforms isn’t just about connection, but about shared ownership and opportunity,” the statement concluded.
