Firms provide gifts for 500 Lagos women

Real estate firm LCR Limited, in collaboration with Kokun Foundation, has gifted 500 widows and single mothers in Lagos State as part of its Yuletide initiative.

In a statement, the firm disclosed it partnered to distribute food boxes filled with essential items to ensure the beneficiaries could prepare meals for the holiday season.

A representative of LCR Limited, speaking during the event, highlighted the firm’s dedication to community support. “Christmas is all about showing love, and as a company, we believe that giving back is one of the most impactful ways to express that love,” the representative said.

The founder of the Kokun Foundation echoed similar sentiments, stressing the importance of collective action in addressing social issues, adding, “No act of kindness is too small. When organisations and individuals unite for a cause like this, the impact is extraordinary.”

Beneficiaries of the initiative expressed deep gratitude for the timely gesture, including a widow, Joy Amadi, who stated, “This food box will feed my family throughout Christmas. I am overwhelmed by the love and support shown to us today.”

LCR Limited called on other corporate bodies to emulate the effort and underscored they hoped the initiative addressed immediate needs and fostered a sense of hope and community among participants.
