Firm unveils new yoghurt brand


A beverage and dairy firm, Cedar D’Vine Nigeria Limited, has rolled out a new yoghurt line, Zoi Dairy Fresh, targeted at health-conscious consumers.

The firm introduced the product at a launch event in Ogun State and described it as a nutritious treat designed to enhance consumers’ quality of life, according to a statement.

Cedar D’Vine’s Managing Director, Mike Ewewie, explained the inspiration behind the yoghurt brand, stating, “The name of the yoghurt was derived from the Greek word Zoi, which means ‘life.’ We have crafted it with premium ingredients to nourish and satisfy our customers’ desire for high-quality yoghurt,” he said.

The product comes in four flavours namely, Vanilla, Unsweetened, Strawberry, and Banana, which Ewewie elaborating.

“The vanilla flavour offers extra creaminess and thickness, perfect for a luxurious experience, while the unsweetened option caters to those seeking healthier alternatives without added sugar. Strawberry brings a burst of berry goodness, and banana offers a filling, refreshing taste.”

Production Manager Aniefon Otu, highlighting the health benefits of the yoghurt, emphasised its nutrient-rich composition, noting, “Zoi Dairy Fresh is packed with calcium and protein, which support bone health, digestion, weight management, immunity, and brain function.”

Meanwhile, Executive Director, Stella Mike-Ewewie, described the launch as part of Cedar D’Vine’s broader vision to become a household name in Nigeria and the African sub-region.

She remarked, “This new yoghurt line demonstrates our commitment to providing innovative and high-quality dairy products.”

The company hinted at further expansion in its product portfolio as it continues to meet the growing demand for premium dairy products.
