Firm to award N60m to entrepreneurs


Empire Entertainment, a company focused on both entertainment and entrepreneurship, has announced a prize package worth N60m, which includes a brand-new car and an international travel opportunity for the winner of the second edition of its reality show, Empire Africa and House Reality Show.

In a statement, the Chief Executive Officer of Empire Entertainment, Dickson Aligbe, articulated that participants in the reality show will gain valuable entrepreneurial skills encompassing business development, communication, and entertainment, effectively preparing them for future success.

“This edition will provide a broader platform and numerous transformative opportunities for contestants,” Aligbe noted. He emphasised that the initiative’s goal is to cultivate talented young Nigerians, promoting job creation, and self-sufficiency, and contributing to national development.

The Creative Lead for the show, Majesty Sampson, further elaborated on the program’s offerings, highlighting that every participant will benefit from its framework.

“The program will include professional mentorship aimed at preparing participants for future endeavors. The winner will receive a N60m prize, a new car, and opportunities for international travel. Nonetheless, every participant will acquire significant skills in entrepreneurship, communication, and entertainment,” Sampson stated.

According to Sampson, the reality show embodies the company’s vision of integrating entertainment with entrepreneurship and social impact.

“This initiative encapsulates the essence of our mission—contributing to society while equipping contestants with essential tools for their futures,” he added.

Marketing Activation Supervisor for Golden Penny Flour Nigeria, Adewale Awola, articulated the company’s decision to partner with Empire Entertainment, stating, “We are committed to supporting initiatives that positively impact people’s lives, and this collaboration aligns with our values.”

The Empire Africa reality show was launched in 2023, featuring contestants who engaged in community building activities throughout Lagos, including visits to local markets and orphanages.
