Firm launches hub for local entrepreneurs in Lagos

A real estate company in Lagos, Chateau Royal, has unveiled a new lifestyle development hub for local entrepreneurs and other business owners in the Awoyaya area of the state.

In a statement made available to The PUNCH by its Secretary and Head of Legal Services, Treasure Ezeigbo, the company described the hub as a transformative centre designed to redefine shopping, hospitality, business, and urban living in the fast-growing Ibeju–Lekki corridor.

The firm said the hub, named The Meadows, was conceived as “a development with purpose,” emphasising its commitment to community uplift and corporate social responsibility. “Sustainable real estate goes beyond infrastructure; it must deliver meaningful social and economic impact,” Chateau Royal stated.

It noted that the hub, strategically located opposite Cosharis and close to Greenfield Schools and Safair Estate, features premium retail spaces, entertainment zones, a world-class event hall, and boutique studio apartments suitable for short and long stays.

The company said the hub will create hundreds of direct and indirect jobs for residents of Awoyaya and neighbouring communities through opportunities in retail, hospitality, security, logistics, facility management, entertainment and creative industries.

“The Meadows Lagos will stimulate economic activity, empower local entrepreneurs, and improve the overall standard of living in the area,” the statement added.

Chateau Royal noted that the project is expected to accelerate Awoyaya’s evolution into a modern residential, business, and leisure destination, offering amenities including food courts, cinemas, luxury lounges, kids’ play zones, and an expansive event centre.

It added that the development provides strong investment prospects, with retail and office stalls as well as boutique hotel apartments promising high rental yields, consistent foot traffic, and long-term capital appreciation.

The company disclosed that The Meadows Lagos is the first in a series of lifestyle hubs it plans to roll out across Lagos and beyond.
