Epic Series Cheta M Season 2 Showcases On Showmax


The epic journey of Cheta M continues with its highly anticipated second season, now streaming exclusively on Showmax.

The series which is weaved around a love story boasts a remarkable ensemble of rising stars and Nollywood legends. Oluchi Amajuoyi and Kingsley Nwachukwu shine as Adanna and Nnanna, while Ruby Okezie plays Mmesomma. Kalu Ikeagwu takes on the role of Jideofor, and Nonso Odogwu is Ezeugo.

Cheta M which means Remember Me in Igbo language picks up at Adanna and Nwoye’s wedding, the joyous occasion quickly spirals into chaos with a series of shocking events. From the arrival of emissaries from Ajaani, Mgberi’s rival kingdom, to the ominous death of Chidalu, tensions are at an all-time high.

Amid the turmoil, Urenna, a warrior secretly in love with Nnanna, boldly claims to be his betrothed during an introduction with the village head. Is this a strategic move to calm suspicions, or is it driven by jealousy over the lingering glances between Nnanna and Adanna?

Meanwhile, Mmadiya, the manipulative first wife of the village head, shows her true colours. Intent on protecting her son from Chidalu’s “threat” and ensuring his engagement to Princess Ahunna of Ajaani, she’s willing to risk everything – even her unborn grandchild and the unity of Mgberi.

The dark priest Ojigijaga also faces his reckoning as he encounters Nnanna, the man who exposed his evil deeds in Season 1. Using the mystical Tree of Memories, Ojigijaga erased the villagers’ memories of Nnanna, but with Nnanna’s return, the priest’s sinister secrets threaten to unravel.

Cheta M Series 2 streams on Showmax with three new episodes released weekly on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
