El-Rufai ‘Markets’ Aloy Of London To Gov. Otti

In what appeared to be a lighthearted moment in Abuja, former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has seen introducing the popular event compere, Aloy of London, to Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti.

The encounter, which has since sparked conversations across political and entertainment circles, took place at the wedding reception of the Son of former Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi.

The event was anchored by Aloy of London, whose real name is Kingsley Chimezie Oruonye, alongside comedian Chuks De General.

Aloy of London, known for his high-profile performances and close ties with El-Rufai, has hosted several family events for the former governor.

Their long-standing professional relationship has made Aloy a regular face at elite gatherings attended by top political figures.

A viral video from the event captured the moment Aloy approached El-Rufai during the reception and whispered a few words to him. In response, the former governor took him by the hand and led him to Governor Otti, who was among the distinguished guests.

El-Rufai was seen speaking briefly into the Abia governor’s ear before both men exchanged smiles and posed for photographs with the MC.

Sources hinted that El-Rufai’s gesture was aimed at linking Aloy of London to the Abia State Government for future official and social events, leveraging his expertise to add class and creativity to state functions.

The move is also seen as an effort to give the Abia-born entertainer greater recognition in his home state, where Governor Otti has shown growing interest in promoting the creative and entertainment industries.

Since launching his professional career in 2020, Aloy of London has carved a niche in the luxury event space, hosting top-tier weddings across Nigeria and West Africa.

Fluent in Hausa, he has become a household name in northern wedding circles, including the grand ceremony between Aisha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, daughter of former Kano State Governor, and Fahad Dahiru Manga, son of business magnate and Max Air owner, Dahiru Mangal.
