Ecobank champions local artistry with Lagos exhibition

Ecobank Nigeria has announced the return of its cultural showcase, the Adire Lagos Exhibition, in its fourth edition.

In a statement on Wednesday, this year’s Adire Lagos Exhibition promises to be a celebration of Nigeria’s cultural heritage, highlighting the artistry and tradition of Adire fabric, a timeless part of Nigerian history.

With over 120 vendors set to participate, the exhibition will feature a blend of traditional and contemporary craftsmanship, offering fashion lovers, cultural enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs a chance to experience the fusion of style, culture, and commerce.

The Head of SME Banking at Ecobank Nigeria, Omoboye Odu, expressed her excitement about the exhibition’s growth and impact. “Adire Lagos has grown into an influential platform that not only promotes tourism but also celebrates local artistry and strengthens the creative economy. We’re expecting a diverse group of exhibitors, international vendors, influencers, and members of the diplomatic community. This is an invitation to experience Nigerian culture at its finest.”

In addition to showcasing hand-dyed Adire textiles, the exhibition will offer a range of cultural experiences, including indigenous cuisine, live performances, interactive masterclasses, and networking opportunities for artisans and entrepreneurs.

It noted that Ecobank’s commitment to supporting the growth of SMES and creative industries in Nigeria further strengthens its position as the leading bank for small and medium-sized businesses in the country. Through platforms like Adire Lagos, Ecobank continues to provide greater visibility and access to opportunities for creatives across Nigeria.
