Degrees Are Not Just Paper, But Pathways To Progress – Gov Mohammed

Inspires Graduands to Become Solution Providers

In an inspiring address to the 8th, 9th, and 10th convocation of Sa’adu Zungur University, Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed encouraged graduates to see their degrees as a launchpad for leadership, innovation, and societal impact.

Accordingly, the Governor charged the graduating students to utilise the opportunity to contribute positively to the national development growth especially to their respective communities.

“Your degree is not a guarantee of success it is an opportunity to prove your worth.

“Do not limit yourselves to seeking employment; become creators of opportunities, innovators, and solution providers,” he said.

Speaking at the ceremony at main campus in Gadau, Saturday in Bauchi, Governor Mohammed urged students to uphold integrity, patience, and compassion in their personal and professional lives.

He also reminded parents and guardians of their vital role, acknowledging the sacrifices made to ensure their children’s education.

The Governor concluded by commending the university’s academic and non-academic staff for nurturing students’ minds and thanked Almighty Allah for guiding the institution’s progress since its establishment in 2011.
