Daddy Freeze Joins ‘Honest Bunch’ Podcast Crew After Nedu’s Exit

Controversial broadcaster and media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze has officially joined ‘The Honest Bunch’ as a co-host.

The announcement was made on Sunday, June 15, via the podcast’s official Instagram page, where a new promotional poster featuring Daddy Freeze was unveiled.

“The Honest Bunch just got more unfiltered. Get ready for hotter takes, deeper convos, and unapologetic honesty. Say hello to our latest addition @daddyfreeze,” the caption read.

Daddy Freeze also confirmed the news on his own Instagram page, writing: “A new era has begun.”

While the post did not explicitly state that Daddy Freeze was replacing Nedu Wazobia, his addition came nearly four months after Nedu stepped down from anchoring the show following a controversy.

LEADERSHIP recalls that controversial social media critic Martin Vincent Otse, popularly called VeryDarkMan accused Nedu of using the platform to exploit up coming female entertainers in exchange for appearances.

The controversy followed a heated episode in which former BBNaija housemate, DeeOne alleged that VeryDarkMan was gay.

VeryDarkMan responded by threatening to release a list of names Nedu had supposedly mentioned and alleging sexual misconduct.

Nedu addressed the controversy during a press briefing, stating that he was stepping down from co-hosting the podcast show.

At the time of filing this report, Nedu has not issued any public statement on Daddy Freeze’s announcement into the show.
