In a press statement issued on Tuesday by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Rt. Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap, the government said the decision followed the restoration of relative calm in the affected area.

The government, however, urged citizens to remain calm, vigilant and law-abiding, stressing that security agencies would continue to monitor developments closely to prevent any breakdown of law and order.

It also commended residents for their cooperation and resilience during the enforcement of the curfew, assuring them of its unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property across the state.
