Coronation Insurance rewards customers with N30m

Coronation Insurance Plc has rewarded customers who emerged winners of its ‘Insure & Win’ promo with prizes worth N30m.

According to a statement, Coronation’s promo was an effort to promote insurance awareness and loyalty in Nigeria.

The first phase of the raffle draw took place at the company’s head office in Ikoyi, Lagos, and saw several participants winning prizes worth millions of naira.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Coronation Insurance, Olamide Olajolo, described the promo as a move to appreciate customers and highlight the importance of insurance.

“The ‘Insure & Win’ promo is our way of appreciating our loyal customers while reinforcing the importance of insurance in Nigeria,” Olajolo said.

He also addressed the low insurance penetration in Nigeria, stating, “Through this campaign, which launched in October and has now been extended into the new year, we aim to further drive public awareness and encourage the adoption of insurance products.”

The campaign, valued at N30m, includes a series of draws culminating in a grand finale.

One of its key drivers is a bancassurance partnership with Access Bank, which Olajolo said has broadened access to insurance for individuals and businesses.

“Our strategic collaboration with Access Bank has made it easier for individuals and businesses to obtain insurance coverage, enabling us to reach more Nigerians with products tailored to their unique needs,” the Coronation CEO added.

Further, the Managing Director/CEO of Coronation Life Assurance, Adebowale Adesona, emphasised the company’s focus on delivering comprehensive protection, declaring, “This initiative is a testament to our commitment to delivering value through innovative solutions. It is not just about winning prizes but also about ensuring our customers have access to the protection they need to secure their futures.”

One of the winners, Ejoke Joseph, who received a bedside refrigerator, expressed excitement about the initiative, remarking, “I’m thrilled to be one of the winners in this promo. Beyond the prize, it’s reassuring to know my insurance needs are well catered for by Coronation Insurance. This is a great way to encourage people to see the value in protecting what matters most.”
