Construction Begins at Mowe Energy Estate in Ogun State

Construction activities have commenced at the Energy Estate project located at Abaren Village, Mowe, in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, marking a major milestone for the development.

The project sits on over 50 acres of land owned by the Conoil Cooperative Staff Society and is positioned within a fast-growing and already well-developed residential corridor of Mowe.

The first phase of the project, which involves the sale of plots to the public, has officially begun with a promotional offer on the initial 30 plots. Each 500 square metre plot is being offered at a promo price of N5m, a rate widely regarded as highly competitive for land with a Certificate of Occupancy  in a location that is already fully surrounded by existing residential buildings.

Industry observers note that Mowe has continued to attract strong interest from homebuyers and investors due to its proximity to Lagos, improving infrastructure, and steady urban expansion. Energy Estate’s location within an already inhabited neighbourhood further strengthens its appeal, reducing concerns around isolation and long-term infrastructure delivery.

Beyond land sales, visible development work is already underway on site. Construction of the estate gatehouse has started, alongside prototype housing units that will serve as a guide for eventual residential development. These early works signal the developer’s commitment to timely delivery and quality execution.

Energy Estate is being positioned as a modern and forward-looking residential community. In addition to standard estate infrastructure such as paved roads, street lighting, CCTV surveillance, and organised security provision, the project will introduce facilities that go beyond the norm. Planned features include central gas piping, Wi-Fi connectivity across the estate, and the use of red bricks in construction to enhance durability and aesthetics.

To further widen access, a mortgage facility will be made available at any time to qualified beneficiaries, providing flexible financing options for prospective homeowners.

The project is being developed by Fleurir Concept International Limited, a firm that says it is focused on delivering quality housing through innovation and cost affordability. With construction already in progress and attractive entry pricing, Energy Estate Abaren Mowe is shaping up as a notable addition to Ogun State’s evolving residential landscape.
