Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has urged men who are struggling financially not to impregnate any woman, citing Nigeria’s worsening economic conditions.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, Agu highlights the soaring costs of diapers, school fees, fuel, and basic commodities.
Decrying the economic hardship, the Nigerian actor urged men to consider their financial readiness before taking on parental responsibilities.

He cautioned that individuals who disregarded his counsel would suffer more, pointing out that they would “cry more than the baby” when faced with the challenges of parenting.
“Pampers prices are increasing, school fees are rising, fuel prices are increasing, and even the cost of commodities keeps going up, yet you have nothing, and you’re still getting a woman pregnant, you’ll definitely cry more than that baby.
“You no guild you no get shiii shiii, and you dey release inside a woman, continue enjoyment wan finish you, but you will cry more than the baby when the time to chest the billing comes”, he said.
