CFAO Motors changes name, plans electric cars

CFAO Mobility, formerly known as CFAO Motors, said it is positioning itself at the forefront of innovative mobility solutions across Africa, with Nigeria as a primary focus.

The company said its ongoing rebranding reflects a broader strategic vision aimed at accelerating growth in the region.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Managing Director of the automobile company, Denis Martin.

The company noted that by diversifying its services, CFAO Mobility now offers flexible corporate leasing through the LOXEA brand, multi-brand aftermarket parts via Winpart, and convenient vehicle maintenance through its Autofast franchise.

CFAO Mobility is also expanding its service network in collaboration with Total filling stations in Lagos and Abuja, hence necessitating the rebranding and change of name.

Martins said CFAO Mobility’s extensive product portfolio caters to both individual consumers and businesses.

He added that the company provides renowned brands such as Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Suzuki in the passenger car, SUV, and light commercial vehicle segments.

Martins said, “This new name better represents our comprehensive offerings across the automotive value chain. Our operations in Nigeria span assembly, sales, service, distribution, and marketing through various subsidiaries, enabling us to provide end-to-end solutions that meet the diverse needs of our customers.

“Our ISO certifications in Quality Management and Safety Systems for most of our subsidiaries underscore our commitment to excellence. Our ANZEN safety-first culture prioritizes the well-being of both employees and customers. Ultimately, our customers are at the heart of everything we do,” he stated.

He also promised that the company was set to introduce the eco-friendly electric vehicle brand as part of its green initiative.

Martins said, “It will offer Sinotruk Howo CNG trucks and King Long CNG buses to provide more environmentally friendly transportation options.

“We are expanding our network with new showrooms and service centres, including a BYD showroom on Akin Adesola, Victoria Island, a Toyota showroom and service centre on Kofo Abayomi, Victoria Island, and a new Mitsubishi showroom and service centre on Bishop Oluwole Street, Victoria Island.”
