Clerics of the Celestial Church of Christ have called on Nigerians to surrender their lives to God and embrace repentance, saying rising insecurity and crime in the country are a call to return to God.
Speaking at a recent service, Ven./Sup. Evang. Sunday Ademuyiwa Adesanya, Shepherd-in-Charge of CCC Messiah Cathedral, Lasuwon/Lambo/First Gate, Ikorodu North, said only a return to God would bring forgiveness and lasting peace.
“When we all return to God and repent of our sins, God will definitely forgive us,” he said. He noted that the rise in robbery, kidnapping, and other crimes should prompt people to turn away from sin, forgive one another, and focus on spiritual values that lead to eternal life.
Meanwhile, CCC Igi-Oluwagbin Parish, Oko-Oba II, has announced a three-inone programme featuring its Juvenile Harvest of Dominion, the 2026 “Unstoppable God” Open Air Crusade, and a Birthday/Investiture Thanksgiving Service.
The Juvenile Harvest of Dominion is scheduled for June 7, 2026. Shepherdin-Charge, Most Superior Evang. Julius Omoniyi said the event reflects God’s mandate for man to have dominion over all creation. Activities will include a Bible quiz, Bible recitation, drama, and a Thanksgiving service.
