Campaign Team Mobilises Support For Tinubu In Ekiti

The supporters of President Bola Tinubu in Ekiti State have intensified efforts to boost his chances in the 2027 general elections, as a campaign group announced the reconstitution of its consultative committee.

The Engineer Kayode Ojo Campaign Organisation, who made this disclosure, said the move is part of a broader strategy to galvanise grassroots backing for the President’s re-election bid.

Speaking during the inauguration of the committee in Ado Ekiti, its Chairman, Adebayo Morakinyo, said the group was targeting at least 90 per cent of the total votes in the state for Tinubu.

According to a statement issued by the organisation’s spokesperson, Femi Awojobi, the committee includes Ilesanmi Oguntuase as Secretary, Mrs Bose Yakubu as Treasurer, and Mr Ajayi Daramola as Organising Secretary. It will operate under the guidance of the EKO Movement Elders Advisory Committee, led by Prof Afolabi Popoola.

Morakinyo called on supporters of the All Progressives Congress to begin intensive mobilisation across communities, emphasising the need to highlight the achievements of Tinubu’s administration under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“The group will engage with voters directly, particularly at the grassroots level, highlighting Tinubu’s accomplishments across the state to sensitise the people and keep them abreast of various policies and programmes being implemented by the Federal Government,” he said.

He further urged Nigerians to recognise what he described as the administration’s efforts across key sectors.

“It is high time Nigerians are reminded and kept informed of numerous measures, sacrifices and frameworks, coupled with the President’s achievements across the country.

“Tinubu’s foundation for good governance in education, infrastructure, health, agriculture, power, and economic recovery is commendable and must be appreciated by all,” Morakinyo added.

The committee also outlined plans to intensify engagement through radio programmes, empowerment initiatives, sensitisation campaigns, and direct interaction with voters.

“The President must not get less than 90 per cent of total votes during the 2027 general elections in Ekiti State. The projection is achievable through aggressive mobilisation and sensitisation of the people through strategic plans,” he said.

Morakinyo also encouraged eligible voters in the state to participate in the Continuous Voter Registration exercise conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The campaign organisation expressed confidence that Tinubu’s policies and programmes would continue to deliver long-term benefits, assuring residents of sustained development under his leadership.
