Bournvita Ramadan: Nourishing Families Across Nigeria

In this year’s Ramadan season, Bournvita is expanding its support for Muslim families across Nigeria through its community-focused initiatives.

The brand stated in a statement that its 2026 Ramadan campaign, “Nourishing Families to Win Every Day,” targets communities where the season is most closely observed: mosques, markets, and homes.

It stated that as part of the campaign, Bournvita is distributing over 150,000 free cups of its cocoa beverage across 159 mosque locations nationwide, ensuring that those observing the fast can enjoy a nourishing drink during Iftar.

The initiative also extends into markets and everyday consumer spaces, with activations in 49 locations nationwide. Consumers, retailers, and wholesalers purchasing Bournvita products—from as little as two rolls of the 20g sachet—receive additional gift items.

Shoppers at modern trade outlets across Port Harcourt, Yenagoa, Enugu, Abakaliki, Owerri, Calabar, Uyo, Abuja, Kano, Kaduna, Lagos, Ibadan, Osogbo, Abeokuta, and other locations enjoy free product sampling and gift opportunities.

Bournvita has also partnered with a network of influencers across Nigeria to promote conversations about nourishment during Ramadan.

Speaking on the initiative, Cadbury Cocoa Beverage Category Manager, Oladapo Oshuntoye, said, “Ramadan is a deeply meaningful season centred on reflection, community, and generosity. At Cadbury, we recognise the important role nourishment plays in bringing families together during this time.

“Through our presence in mosques and markets, and initiatives such as the distribution of 150,000 free cups of Bournvita, we aim to support Muslim consumers throughout the fasting period while celebrating the values of sharing, connection, and community that define the holy month.”

Through these efforts, Bournvita continues to strengthen its bond with Nigerian families, promoting generosity and offering nourishment during the holy month. Updates and reflections throughout Ramadan are available via @bournvitang on social media.
