Controversial Nigerian media personality, Okoro Blessing, better known as Blessing CEO has addressed her recent claims about having stage 4 breast cancer and her fundraising efforts.
Speaking in an interview with Egungun, 36-year-old relationship expert clarified that she doesn’t have stage 4 cancer, attributing the confusion to miscommunication.
Blessing CEO revealed that she’s awaiting further tests to determine the exact stage of her cancer and hasn’t started chemotherapy.
“I don’t have stage 4 cancer. That was a miscommunication,” she said.
“I just received my biopsy results. Initially, the lump was thought to be non-cancerous, but later tests revealed it was cancerous.

“I haven’t started chemotherapy yet, and I’m still awaiting further tests to determine the exact stage”, she added.
Regarding the fundraising, she clarified that the amount raised so far was N13 million, not hundreds of millions as rumoured.
“The money raised is not hundreds of millions as some people think. It’s just 13 million naira,” she noted.
She refused to share her medical results online, citing personal reasons, and sees no need to apologize for her actions.
“I will not post my results online because it’s personal, and I don’t owe anyone an apology. I’m just trying to communicate what the doctors have told me”, she added.
Blessing CEO emphasised her focus on exploring treatment options and making informed decisions based on her doctors’ advice.
“I just want to be sure about what I am doing. I’m not a doctor; I’m only sharing the updates I receive from them,” she added.
