Betano announces N50m prize for Next Titan

A sports entertainment platform, Betano, has unveiled a grand prize of N50m for the 10th edition of the entrepreneurial reality television show, The Next Titan.

Betano announced recently it was the show’s headline sponsor during a press conference at the Lagos Marriott Hotel.

Organisers of The Next Nigeria’s 10th season, themed ‘The Unconventional,’ noted they aimed to challenge the limits of entrepreneurial innovation and creativity in the competition’s 20 contestants vying for the grand prize over 10 weeks of business tasks and challenges.

Country Manager of Betano, Kunle Olamuyiwa, highlighted the alignment between Betano’s core values and the mission of The Next Titan, saying, “The show resonates deeply with our brand’s values. By partnering with The Next Titan, we support entrepreneurs in their journey to achieve their dreams.

“This collaboration is about encouraging creativity and innovation and helping these visionaries reach new heights.”

Further, the executive producer of The Next Titan, Mide Akinlaja, described the show as a transformative platform for young Nigerian entrepreneurs, noting, “The Next Titan is unique because it transforms business ideas into success stories.

This season’s theme reflects our commitment to empowering Nigerian youth to break barriers and achieve greatness.”

Auditions for the 10th season are scheduled to commence in February 2025 and will be held across major cities, including Port Harcourt, Abuja, Enugu, and Lagos, with provisions for online submissions.

Fifty candidates will be shortlisted from the pool for an intensive boot camp. The final 20 contestants will then proceed to the Titan House, where they will face weekly eliminations in the Titan boardroom.

The tasks for the contestants will cover key areas such as marketing, sales, advertising, and philanthropy.

The organisers revealed their aim with Next Titan Nigeria Season 10 was to inspire and empower the next generation of Nigerian business leaders.
