Nollywood actress, Adeola Yusuf Kafirat Omashalewa, better known as Basira Beere, has opened up about her experiences, as well as challenges in her marriage, noting that she has loses several pregnancies.
Speaking in a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, the actress claimed that she was misinformed about marriage as a child and that is because of what her parents had told her.
Recounting her experiences, Basira Beere said she had assumed marriage was all about sex.
She revealed that she had lost four pregnancies, one of which she was not aware of at first, describing the challenging encounter with a man she claimed had tricked her.

She acknowledged that she still struggles with the trauma and discussed the emotional cost of these events.
She said, “My parents really misled me. How do I even begin to recount the number of times I’ve had sex? It’s not possible to have been married to these men without them having sex with me.
“I believed marriage was for sex, not for learning. To me, the ‘lesson’ in marriage was having sex morning and night.
“I was once pregnant without knowing, because I was still having my period. I was deceived by flowers on the 14th of February.
“When I later discovered I was pregnant, they summoned the man responsible, and he admitted he already knew.
“His mother had even suspected it from observing my legs when I visited their house. I have lost four pregnancies”, she said.
