The League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents has announced that operators, stakeholders, and regulators of the aviation industry have been invited to a brainstorming session focused on aviation financing in Nigeria as part of its 29th Annual Conference.
Chairman of the planning committee, Wole Shadare, disclosed this in a statement issued to journalists on Tuesday.

“The conference will also unveil a commemorative publication, ‘Celebrating Champions of Aviation Development’, a compendium that honours individuals, institutions, and states that have shaped aviation since 1999.”
The event is scheduled for August 7, 2025, in Lagos, with the theme ‘Aviation Financing in Nigeria: The Risks, Opportunities and Prospects’. It will explore sustainable investment models, access to capital, and risk mitigation strategies.
The Managing Director/CEO of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, Gbenga Alade, who will chair the event, is expected to bring his restructuring and finance expertise to bear.
Chairman of Sabre Central and West Africa, Dr Gabriel Gbenga, a respected expert on airline economics and distribution, is billed to deliver the keynote address.
