…As Nwifuru Insists Aspirants With Visible Achievements’ll Fly APC

Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru has restated that only aspirants with remarkable achievements in their current or previous positions, will be supported to fly the party’s flag during the 2027 general elections.

This is coming against the backdrop of the forthcoming primary election of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Nwifuru made the assertion on Tuesday when he joined the Deputy Senate Chief Whip and Senator representing Ebonyi North district, Chief Onyekachi Nwebonyi, to commission some of his completed projects and inspection of ongoing ones in the zone.

Represented by the State Chairman of the party, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, Nwifuru, said those with no visible achievements in their constituencies should not bother seeking reelections as the party will not repeat it’s 2023 mistakes in 2027.

“The time for stock-taking has come, and only those with results and visible achievements will be considered again to fly our party’s tickets for the next general elections. “Those who have nothing to show for their years of representation will have themselves to blame as the party will not like to repeat its mistakes in 2027,” he declared.

He commended Nwebonyi for attracting what he described as life touching projects for his constituents especially the completed 3-bedroom bungalow be built for the APC women Leader of Izzi Local Government Area, Mrs Felicia Ogbonna.
